Alomide Eye Drops treat redness, burning, itching, and swelling of the eyes caused by allergic reactions. They are mast cell stabilizers and work by preventing allergic reactions.

Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use Alomide Eye Drops as directed. To apply the Alomide Eye Drops:

• Wash your hands before using Alomide Eye Drops.
• Shake the eye drops before each use.
•  Pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze a drop into this pocket. Close your eyes for 1 or 2 minutes.
• Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye drops.
• Please do not touch the dropper tip or place it directly on your eye.

Before using Alomide Eye Drops, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history and if you are allergic to it or have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.

Alcohol or marijuana (cannabis) can make you more dizzy or drowsy. After you apply this drug, your vision may become temporarily blurred. This drug may also rarely make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness or clear vision until you can do it safely. Limit alcoholic beverages. Talk to your doctor if you are using marijuana (cannabis).

Alomide Eye Drops may cause common side effects, including:

• temporary stinging or burning in the eyes
• headache
• increased eye tearing
• dry eyes
• sneezing
• blurred or unstable vision

Some side effects can be serious. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using Alomide Eye Drops and call your doctor immediately:

• skin rash
• eye pain
• swelling in or around the eyes
• vision problems.

Is it safe to consume alcohol with Alomide Eye Drops?
