Condylox Solution is used to remove certain types of warts on the outside skin of the genital areas (penis or vulva). Condylox works by destroying the skin of the wart.

This medicine is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Use Condylox Solution only as directed, usually no more than three days a week and no more than four treatment cycles. Do not apply the medicine to any other wart until you discuss it with your doctor. To apply the Condylox solution,

• Use the applicators that come with the solution or a cotton-tipped applicator. Never reuse an applicator into the bottle.
• Condylox can cause severe irritation of normal skin. If you get medicine on normal skin, wash it off immediately.
• Ensure the treated area is dry before allowing the treated skin to come in contact with normal, untreated skin.
• Immediately after applying for this medicine, wash your hands to remove any medicine. Properly discard the used applicator.

Before using Condyline Solution, consider the following:

• Allergies
  Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine or other medicines. Also, tell your healthcare professional if you have allergies to foods, dyes, preservatives, or animals.
• Geriatric
  There is no specific information comparing the use of Condyline in the elderly with use in other age groups.
• Breastfeeding and Pregnancy
  Tell your healthcare professional about it.
• Interactions with medicines
  Tell your healthcare professional if you are taking other or nonprescription medicine.
• Interactions with food/tobacco/alcohol
  Using alcohol or tobacco with certain medicines may also cause interactions to occur. Discuss with your healthcare professional the use of your medicine with food, alcohol, or tobacco.

Condylox Solution may cause serious side effects, including:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing, and
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
• severe itching, burning, oozing, bleeding, or skin changes

The most common side effects of Condylox Solutions include:

• mild skin irritation,
• headache,
• dizziness,
• sleep problems,
• unpleasant skin odor,
• vomiting, and
• pain during sex

Where should you use Condylox Solution?

Condylox Solution is used on anal and genital warts that are external. Do not use it to treat warts on mucous membranes, such as inside the urethra, vagina or rectum. 

Does Condylox Solution cause scarring?

It's possible to get scarring from Condylox Solution since it is a strong medication that purposely damages the tissue on the surface of the wart. 

What are the possible side effects of Condylox Solution?

Mild pain, swelling, burning, redness, itching, tingling, blisters, crusting, dryness, and peeling may occur.
