Muro 128 Eye Ointment reduces swelling of the eye's surface (cornea) in certain eye conditions. This product works by drawing fluid out of the cornea to reduce swelling. Decreasing swelling of the cornea may lessen eye discomfort or irritation caused by the swelling.

Use Muro 128 Eye Ointment as directed on the label or as prescribed by your doctor.
To apply the Muro 128 eye ointment:

• Wash your hands before using eye medication.
• Tilt your head slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Squeeze a ribbon of ointment from the tube into this pocket.
• Blink your eye gently, then keep it closed for 1 or 2 minutes.
• Wipe excess ointment from your eyelashes using a clean tissue.
• Do not touch the tip of the ointment tube, and do not place the tip directly on your eye. A contaminated tip can infect your eye, leading to serious vision problems.
• Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 72 hours.

Before using Muro 128 eye ointment, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially for: other eye problems and if you are allergic to it; or have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.

Muro 128 eye ointment may cause serious side effects. Stop using Muro 128 and call your doctor at once if you have the following:

• Eye pain;
• Severe or ongoing eye redness or irritation;
• Vision changes; or
• Worsening of your eye condition.

Common side effects of Muro 128 Eye Ointment may include:

• Mild burning or irritation in your eyes.

How should you store the Muro 128 Eye Ointment?

Store at room temperature. Do not freeze. Keep the tube or bottle tightly closed when not in use.

Does Muro 128 Eye Ointment sting my eyes?

Muro 128 Eye Ointment can temporarily sting your eyes. If the stinging is severe and doesn't go away, inform your provider immediately.

When shouldn't you apply Muro 128 Eye Ointment?

Do not use the ointment if it has particles in it. Call your pharmacist for new medicine.
