Patanol Eye drops relieve itchy eyes caused by allergic reactions to pollen, ragweed, grass, animal hair, or pet dander. Patanol Eye drops consist of mast cell stabilizers preventing the release of substances that cause eye itching.

Use Patanol exactly as prescribed by your doctor. To apply the Patanol Eye Drops:

• Wash your hands before using eye medication.
•  Tilt your head slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze a drop into this pocket. Close your eyes for 1 or 2 minutes.

Patanol Eye Drops may cause serious side effects, including:

• severe burning, stinging, or irritation after using the medicine,
• eye swelling,
• redness of the eye,
• severe discomfort, and
• crusting or drainage from the eye

Get medical help immediately or tell the doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or does not go away.
